eFlightLog Flight Planning – more than just Mission Scheduling

Bookings can be created and managed directly in the calendar view.

Pilots only see helicopters assigned to them by Head Office and can only edit bookings they have created themselves or that have been assigned to them.

Clicking on a free block in the calendar opens a new booking with date, helicopter and pilot already pre-filled. Clicking on an existing booking opens it for editing.

Thanks to the responsive design, creating or editing bookings is easy even on a mobile phone.

After creating or modifying a booking, all involved parties automatically receive an email confirmation (pilot / co-pilot / instructor / head office).

The number of passengers is entered in the PAX field. Alternatively, detailed passenger lists can be created (name, weight, email, phone number, voucher number).

Passengers with a stored email address can be contacted with a single click to receive a booking confirmation or boarding information. A separate email template is available for each location or base.

The calendar feed displays personal appointments directly in the user’s own calendar (e.g., Google, Apple, Outlook, Thunderbird, and others).

Booking data can be transferred to a FlightLog with a single click. After “Check-In” in the FlightLog, the booking status changes to “Boarded.” After completion of the flight (PIC Sign-Off), the status changes to “Landed.” Bookings with the status “Landed” can only be edited by Head Office staff.

The actual departure and arrival times are automatically transferred back into the booking once the flight is completed.

Bookings with the status “Booked” cannot be deleted directly. Using “Cancel Flight,” the booking is canceled and deactivated; it then appears exclusively in the “Cancelled Flights” list.

When canceling a booking, an optional reason can be specified. These “Cancelled Reasons” are available for statistical analysis.

Canceled bookings can be reactivated at any time by assigning a new date.
