Every aircraft must be assigned an Aircraft Type. The settings in the Aircraft Type define the layout of the FlightLog form, which fields are displayed and which fields must be filled in.
To add an Aircraft Type, go to the backend, choose ‚FlightLog‘ in the left-hand menu and click on the ‚Aircraft Type‘ button.
When the table is displayed, klick on ‚New Record‘ (Hinzufügen) in the top left of the table.
You will be presented with a blank Aircraft Type form to fill in.
To edit an Aircraft Type, click on the ‚Edit Record‘ button in the Aircraft Type list. The details of the Aircraft Type are shown for editing.
On the right a list of Aircraft which have been assigned this Aircraft Type is visible under ‚Aircraft of type…‘. The aircraft registration in this list is a link to edit/view the details of the aircraft.
