B1 and LCS technicians must be listed in the technicians table.
If the Trigram does not exist already in the technicians table, a technician record is created automatically when adding aircraft to a pilots ‚Pilot is Limited Certifying Staff for‘-list or adding a pilot to the ‚Limited Certifying Staff of this Aircraft‘-list for an Aircraft.
Technicians with B1 have special capabilities. For the aircraft assigned to their pilots account, they
- have access to the Discrepancies page (HIL)
- can categorize Discrepancy Reports and set recitification due deadlines for HIL Items
- can create a Part-145 Release to Service (RS)
- can mark discrepancies (HIL Items) as closed
