If you have Limited Certifying Staff (LCS) qualifications, you can create a Release to Service (RS) for the LCS-tasks which must periodically be performed.
Click on the ‚Create RS‘ button in FlightLog or FlightAssistant to open the RS-Form, and mark the tasks which you have performed as completed (Tipp: you don’t need to tap exactly on the checkbox, tapping the text will do), and sign the RS to certify.
If you are B1 technician assigned to the aircraft, you can create an MX RS (‚Part-145 Inspection‘). With an MX RS you can
- mark discrepancies as rectified.
- upload fotos of purchase orders (PO).
- set new deadlines for the next Part-145 inspection.
Saving a new RS on the Discrepancies page creates a ‚floating‘ RS, which becomes attached to the next FlightLog saved for the aircraft (the RS is also visible when displaying a new, unsaved FlightLog).
Creating a RS on an existing FlightLog page attaches the RS to that FlightLog.
Each time a RS is saved, a PDF-Copy is created with version number, and the button ‚Show PDF‚ appears in the RS Form. Click on the button to display the current RS version.
If you wish to display an older version, click or tap on the dropdown-list of version numbers to open the list, releasing the mouse-button or screen only when you have selected the desired version.
