If you are logged in as B1 Technician or Author/Editor, you have a special eFlightLog menu: Discrepancies.
The discrepancy page shows items added to the Hold Item Lists (HILs) by Pilots/Technicians creating a Discrepancy Report using FlightLog.
As default, all open items of all aircraft are shown when opening the page. Change the filter to show closed items or all items.
You can also filter by category (deferred, M.E.L., A.O.G.).
You MUST choose an aircraft from the list before you can edit a Discrepancy Report or create a Release to Service (RS).
Click on the item number (#) to open a Discrepancy Report. Here you can set the discrepancy category and the deadlines for rectification.
If you are opening the Discrepancy Report from an email alert, the corresponding filters are set automatically and the Discrepancy Report is opened for you.
New Discrepancy Reports must be countersigned by a B1 technician with a signature in ‚CAMO Visum to authorize the Discrepancy-Category. Until this point, these reports are listed as ‚unsigned‘.
Discrepancies with expired rectification deadlines lead to a NOT ready to fly! status for the aircraft!
To change the status of discrepancies to ‚closed‘, you must mark them as rectified in a RS.
