FlightLog

To create / edit FlightLogs, you must have a user account on your eFlightLog domain AND the Access Key for the specific aircraft must be installed on your computer.

As Pilot/FI, you will probably only be using the FlightLog page on the mobile device (tablet computer/iPad) provided for the aircraft, where the Access Key has already been installed. If you are not already on the FlightLog page, click on ‚FlightLog‘ in the top menu.

Should the Access Key have been changed or not set yet, you will be prompted to enter it on selecting the aircraft for which you wish to add/edit FlightLogs.

As a rule, when you log in to the FlightLog page, it opens a new FlightLog, and the FlightAssistant is started automatically.

Important: If the previous FlightLog was not finalised (i.e. ‚SIGN OFF PIC/FI‚ not signed) – or a previous FlightLog was edited on the mobile device after completion – the last edited FlightLog will be shown on the page. Start the assistant with  ‚FlightAssistant‘ button
and take measures to complete the FlightLog, correcting or adding data if necessary. Ensure that ‚SIGN OFF PIC/FI‘ is signed to finalise the FlightLog.

If you are not automatically redirected to a New FlightLog then, click on the ‚New‘ button. If FlightAssistant does not fire automatically, use the ‚FlightAssistant‘ button to start the assistant and record your flights.

If you exit FlightAssistant, you will be shown the current FlightLog page, with your saved changes. Return to the FlightAssistant with the ‚FlightAssistant‘ button to complete your FlightLog.

The ‚Requery‚ button discards all unsaved changes and loads the FlightLog into the page anew from the database.
Use this button  when changes have been made to your current FlightLog on another computer (e.g.  a Technician has created a Certificate of Release to Service while your current FlightLog was open) to update your FlightLog page and show changes.

Be sure to Log Out after completion to prevent the following user ‚flying‘ with your account!
